Laura DemeriPhysical activity is as important to life as breathing.  The effort of moving and manipulating the body develops an intimate awareness of its needs. 

Believe in Movement provides a selection of fitness & wellness programs that cater to the specific needs & interests of the community. It is our intention to host a safe, supportive, nurturing,and most of all fun environment for this learning to occur.


Believe in Movement has been giving classes since Oct 10, 2009, and continues to grow with new classes and instructors.

We offer much, MUCH more than just Yoga or Pilates! Believe has something for everyone, and people of all ages and ability levels will find a class suited to their fitness needs.

Wellness is more than avoiding illness or injury. When you build upon your existing health and energize your entire self, you become a complete and flourishing whole person. Our classes all take this holistic approach to fitness, and the result is a happier, healthier you.

Music and Yoga with Cameron and Allison

Sunday, Feb 5th at 9:00AM - sign up is encouraged to reserve a spot

Musician Cameron Morgan creates ambiance with his sonic washes as Allison guides students through gentle warm-up stretches and pranayama (breath work) to heat the body and oxygenate the muscles, followed by a series of asana. Although there is a vinyasa (flow) component to the class the emphasis is on standing postures for creating strength, balance and flexibility, heart-opening backbends, spine-invigorating twists and mind-altering inversions. Cameron Morgan has performed all over the world and was Music Director of Mass Ensemble from 2001 to 2008.  He has lent guitar, bass, vocals, and composing to numerous recording sessions and movie soundtracks, including works for David Lynch.

Eliot Sitt is having so much fun with his classes. The "regulars" are a wonderful group and seem to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. One client recovering from a stroke has seen tremendous improvement in his motor skills and recently graduated into the 12PM class! With commitment and determination, it's amazing what movement can do for the body and mind... All levels and abilities are welcome!
